What’s the Maja? Strike a Pose!

The paintings of Franco de Goyah are among the most famous on all of Valon. He is an artist of great renown to all civilised nations. Once a court favourite of the now exiled King Fernando of Catalucia, Goyah now wanders the smashed land of his fellows and paints for all who can pay him. Once a believer in the freedom promised by the Tyrant Emperor Mordred the Dark Elf Goyah even rendered a portrait of the Emperor. This was just before the fall of the Dark Elves and Goyah missed the massive evacuation that took the king and his loyal followers to the relative safety of Southern Catalucia. Goyah has pledged his alliance to the Ferach Empire and can travel freely, but he longs for his true king to rule once more.

Currently Goyah is near Severville and is in the employ of the Marquis du Grande Frappechino a Nepolise noble with more money than sense, or so it seems... Despite more than a dozen portraits of himself the Marquis still wants more.

Uniform Details
The clothing worn by Franco Goyah is a plain purple artists frock over grey breeches and a black cap. The easel is a light brown wood and the canvas upon it could be anything! The Marquis Frappechino wears a rich purple and gold tunic and red breeches along with white tights and neckerchief; he has a powered wig.

Flintloque Rules
In your games of Flintloque treat The Artist Goyah as follows:

The character of Goyah is a Dark Elf of Average / Civilian status who carries no weapons. With his special abilities he costs 33 Points. In play the easel remains in base to base contact with Goyah and is moved with him, it does not impede his movement (he is a travelling artist!). No Dark Elf or Todoroni will ever attack Goya and in the case of all other attacks made against him the attacker must roll 1D10 and can only attack on a 6+ result. Goyah gains all the benefits of an artist outlined in the D&A Power of the Easel article, refer to this for full abilities. If you do not have this article it can be had for free upon request. If not using this article then Goyah in play confirms a +10% accuracy bonus on all shots made by his Section and also a +2 melee mod in close combat as his allies attempt to make sure they will be immortalised in paint after the fight.

The character of Marquis du Grande Frappechino is a Little Todoroni of Experienced / Light Infantry / Elite status who carries a standard pistol. With this and his abilities he costs 42 Points. While maintaining the air of a buffoon this Toad is anything but, he is an undercover Major spying on Goyah for the Ferach. In play he will protect Goyah and attempt to keep him alive. He gives all enemies in melee with him a -1 to their final rolled melee result as he pretends to be a fool.

Please note this set is very versatile and the Marquis has many other uses for example other civilians, a military officer and more. Goyah is unique and great for any Dark Elf player to have.

Slaughterloo Rules
The Artist Goyah (Special) (80 Points)

In play the whole set is used as one element and must be in base to base contact at all times. It is attached to any one General or C-In-C in your army, there can only be one in your whole army. Pay the points and place it next to your chosen commander. The Artist remains in play unless the commander is removed or is engaged in melee where the artist is assumed to have been killed or to have fled regardless of the melee result.

Oh You Really Are Important!: In play the Artist set gives the commander huge confidence, after all he is being immortalised in paint! This means that once per turn, at any point, the commander may discard any one command card from his current hand and draw another. He must abide by the new card...at least until next turn!
